A hiker died during an ascent of Snowdonia in North Wales. The accident happened on the Crib Goch Ridge section (pictured above) where hikers teeter on the edge with a drop off on one side and a steep slope on the other.
He fell off the north side of Crib Goch Ridge, but I am not sure if that is the steep drop off or the slope.
Llanberis Mountain Rescue dispatched a chopper to the scene and confirmed the man had died. I’ll update if more details surface.
