A rescue chopper that had difficulty locating a fallen climber was assisted by 16 children, ages 10 and 11, who formed a human arrow to direct the chopper to the accident scene.
The children noticed the helicopter hovering above them and wandering aimlessly around the Roaches (pictured above) in the UK. Nearby, a climber fell 15 feet and broke his leg in several places.
The children lined up and made a human arrow to signal the chopper. The pilot said the accident scene was easy to find after he saw the human arrow.
The man was airlifted and taken to a hospital. The children were on a field trip to the Roaches learning how to rock climb.
