Mushroom Picker Lost near Robertson Creek Fish Hatchery, BC

Royal Mounties were called out to rescue a mushroom picker who got lost in the wilderness near Robertson Creek Fish Hatchery in British Columbia.

The man called authorities when he became lost on the way back to his car. Four teams were sent to the area yelling for him. He was eventually found and brought back to the trailhead 3 hours later.

Authorities warned mushroom pickers about the rigors of the wilderness and advises pickers to bring a simple map and compass.
