Tramper Missing in Kahurangi National Park, New Zealand


A tramper (kiwi for “hiker”) was reported missing in Kahurangi National Park in New Zealand.

Search and rescue are looking for a 44-year-old man who was hiking on the Kill Devil Track trail. The man was solo hiking and is overdue. His last contact with his wife was on Sunday.

Unfortunately the story didn’t report his name, description or any other info that may help.

    Update – Stephen’s body was found at the bottom of a bluff this afternoon. Our thoughts are with his wife and two daughters as they grieve the loss of an awesome father and loving husband.
