An inbounds snowboarder died after being buried in an avalanche at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s Toilet Bowl run. A crown at the top of the run was reported to be about 8 feet high.
It is unclear if the run was open or if the man found a way to go down it. The upper lifts of the ski resort were recently opened after they were closed due to heavy snowfall and extreme danger.
After the incident, the upper mountain was closed again. There is no further reports from the incident and no further details of the man who died.
