A missing hiker was found dead on Aonach Mor when he was forced to spend the night on the mountain in sub-zero temperatures.
The man, said to be in his 30s, failed to rendezvous with his friend and was reported missing around 6 p.m. A chopper and foot crews searched for him in freezing fog and was found the next morning.
Authorities said they found him on the route he was planning to take, but he may have slipped and injured himself during the hike.
