But you assume that because it is in writing, it must be true. For example Dodo did not "give up", he went on to solo another route on Annapurna. Nor was Elisabeth plucked off the mountain by the helicopter. SHe reached the village of Manang and called a helicopter. Martin was not 42 years old. This was to be Martin's 8th 8,000 m peak - I am sure he was exhausted descending every one of them. <br /><br />I am curious, as to why you are absorbed in reporting stuff you cannot verify on your own. You did not know Martin. THerefore please do not write about him.
