Who: 33-year-old Michael Cooper
Where: Devil’s Hole State Park, New York
His mistake: Looks like he strayed off trail and took a plunge.
What happened: A man hiking alone in a gorge apparently hiked off trail and slipped off a steep cliff. A couple of other hikers heard screams from the gorge and called for help.
When rescuers arrived, the man was conscious, in a lot of pain and talking a lot about how much pain he was in. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

The Labowski Family through their Spokesman Gus Michael Farinella issues wishes of condolences to the Family of Mr. Cooper and hope that he may meet Heavens Gate soon. Their only Child Magdalena Lubowska drown nearby in the Gorge on August 13,2009 at the hands of an illegal camp run by the Mother/Son duo Eva Hedges and her Son Timothy Hedges when Timothy an unlicensed phony camp counselor led nearly 20 underage children down the Gorge Trail whereat Magdalena fell into the Whirlpool and experienced a horrific death. Magda will greet Michael with open arms in Heaven.
