Climber Dies in Red Rock


Who: A 28-year-old from Las Vegas, Nevada
Where: Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, Nevada
Her mistake: It’s unknown. It just looks like she lost her footing
What happened: A woman was hiking and climbing in Red Rock with her husband. She was hiking, climbing and rappelling on and down the rocks. At some point, the woman lost her footing and fell 120 feet to her death. It is unknown if she was climbing or hiking at the time she fell.
