Who: Two 18-year-old guys
Where: Nonou Mountain, Hawaii
Their mistake: They took a fall, but that’s it
What happened: Two men were hiking on a trail when they both slipped off the trail and fell from the trail. They were unable to get back up to the trail and became disoriented. The hikers called 911 for help at 3:55 p.m. Authorities used e911 to track their location and a helicopter was sent.
The chopper made contact with the hikers at 4:30 p.m. Each hiker was plucked from the mountain separately. That’s some quick work.
