Their mistake: Maybe they could’ve ducked for cover, but who knows
What happened: A lightning storm was passing over a car campground when two bolts of lightning struck 5 campers – 2 employees and 3 campers. The two employees were in a booth speaking to a camper. The two other injured campers were at their site when the lightning struck.
Only one of the victims was seriously injured and was rushed to a local hospital. The others were slightly injured, and only some of them were transported for treatment.
