What happened: Three hikers and a dog were on a hike in the Mt. Rose wilderness. It seems like they were overdue and someone reported them missing. A search began and two hikers and a dog were found. It is unclear how the men got separated.
A third hiker is still missing on the mountain. His hiking partners said the man was carrying two sleeping bags, but no flashlight, no cell phone and no other supplies. They did tell authorities that the man was heading down into a creek and lake area and he is likely to hunker down for the night. I will post details if they come.
