10-Year-Old Falls 20 Feet Onto Rocks

Where: Burbage Rocks, Peak District, UK
His mistake: he just took a fall
What happened: A boy was hiking with his family in the Burbage Rocks area when he took a 20-foot fall off the rock. He suffered serious head injuries in the fall. His family called for help immediately and members of the Edale Mountain Rescue Team quickly responded.

The boy was stabilized and packaged for an air transport and was taken to the local Children’s Hospital. As doctors got to examine the boy, they discovered the boy also suffered from a fractured jaw.
