Her mistake: It’s unclear
What happened: A woman was biking when she fell 80 feet off of a south-facing ledge. She became jammed into a small gully in the face. Authorities said she took a “Tom and Jerry fall” and has multiple injuries.
Luckily, there was a nearby climber who was able to reach the woman. The climber gave her first-aid and disappeared before authorities arrived. When rescue teams did arrive, they found the woman was stabilized and given initial first aid. Authorities said she would be in much worse condition if the mystery climber wasn’t there.
A Sea King helicopter was dispatched to the scene and battled strong winds to airlift the patient to safety.
